WMSL is The Great88.....The Great Music Place in Athens and Northeast Georgia and host of the sound of Masterful Music for the past 20 years. WMSL remains the only full time, full service, full power, Christian music station in the Athens, Clarke, Oconee, Walton, Barrow, and surrounding county regions. The station signed on December 1987, and has been serving as a ministry outreach to families in northeast Georgia since that time. key pour stella phoenix WMSL is licensed as a non-commercial, educational, community supported station, and the announcements heard each hour are acknowledgments of businesses and individuals who have chosen to support the station with prayer and funding. All funds and gifts of any kind are fully tax deductible as would be a donation to a 501c-3 organization. key pour stella phoenix The Great88....at 88.9fm plays a balanced mixture of Christian music favorites that compose the majority of 23 hours in each day. Program content is determined by the counsel of the Holy Spirit, the quality and integrity of content, and a level of excellence in production that is established as the standard of the broadcast industry. For that reason, no program position times are sold to program producers.
